The little Fomantis was the first stop on their Safari Zone tour, apparently. Guillermo had to bite down on a squeeee of adorableness at the sight of the green-and-pink flower. He wanted to pick it up and squish it to his face, it was so cute. Zuza gave it a little, gentle mental shake with confusion and while it was spinning around Memo bonked it gently with a Pokeball.

When Memo caught the Magikarp, he figured he was doing the little fish a favor. It’d gotten stranded flopping about in a tiny puddle some ways away from the main lake, and was in danger of drying up or suffocating. Either way, it was an easy addition to his collection.

Though they paused to watch the small troupe of Grookey’s play and frolic in the treeline, Memo and Zuza didn’t pursue them once they pulled back into the thicker forest. He had enough on his hands trying to wrangle Tambor, his Rillaboom, and wasn’t entirely keen on adding more monkey business onto his plate.
